Job Description:

  1. The Cloud Specialist 2 primarily handles:Responding to monitoring alerts and resolving issues.
  2. Assisting customers, partners, and internal teams.
  3. Disaster recovery failover testing and scheduled maintenance in the cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responding to phone calls, tickets, and emails concerning network configurations, security, and performance in cloud environments.
  2. Collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
  3. Deploying, configuring, and managing cloud-based networking solutions.
  4. Implementing approved changes to the cloud infrastructure.
  5. Troubleshooting and resolving basic cloud issues.
  6. Assisting with testing and maintaining cloud business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  7. Providing regular updates to customers on issue resolution progress.
  8. Contributing to internal documentation for issue resolution and system maintenance.
  9. Assisting in gathering information for audits to ensure compliance.

Requirements 

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Basic experience in process improvement and issue resolution.
  3. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  4. Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  7. Knowledge of systems administration principles and Microsoft Server environments.
  8. Up to 10% travel may be required.
