About the Role:
As a Software Quality Assurance Intern, your main role is to assist in ensuring the quality of software products. This means you’ll be involved in creating and enhancing tools used for testing.
Responsibilities:
- Improving Testing Tools: You’ll work on making the tools used for testing better. This involves tweaking existing tools to accommodate new features and functionalities.
- Studying Testing Methods: You’ll conduct studies to compare different methods of testing to find the most effective ones.
- Adding New Tools: You’ll also have the chance to create new tools using a programming language called Pytest.
- Working in Sprints: Your work will be organized into short periods called sprints. At the end of each sprint, you’ll demonstrate the progress you’ve made.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: You should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You need to be good at solving complex problems, especially when under pressure.
- Technical Skills: You should have knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python3, Bash, or Tcl. You should also be familiar with Linux operating systems.
- Interest in High Performance Computing: It’s helpful if you’re interested in learning about High Performance Computing, which involves making computers perform complex tasks quickly.
- Communication and Time Management: Good communication and time management skills are essential for this role.
