Role and Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain data pipelines for the GroundTruth platform.
2. Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and AWS technologies.
3. Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Client Services teams to support their data infrastructure needs.
4. Prepare detailed specifications and low-level design documents.
5. Participate in code reviews and test products before launch.
6. Maintain applications post-launch.
7. Contribute ideas to improve the location platform.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 0-3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
3. Experience with AWS Stack (EC2, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, ECS, Lambda, Step functions).
4. Knowledge of Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Spark, Glue.
5. Proficiency in Python for data pipelines and tasks.
6. Skilled in writing analytical queries using SQL.
7. Experience with Airflow and Docker.
8. Proficient in Git.

Preferred Skills:

1. Knowledge of Rest APIs and shell scripting.
2. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig.
3. Familiarity with BI tools like Looker and Tableau.
4. Experience with database maintenance and configuration management.
5. QA practices and experience with Amazon Web Services and Docker.
