Position: Software Engineer

Location: India- Pune (Amdocs Site)

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, debugging, and maintaining software systems.

Essential Skills

1. Proficient in Java 8 and 11, with a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts
2. Demonstrated experience with microservices
3. Familiarity with Swagger/Open API and Rest API
4. Proficiency in Spring suite, particularly core and Spring Boot
5. Knowledge of QA and CI/CD pipelines, including unit, integration, and component testing in microservices environments
6. Understanding of architecture fundamentals such as scalability, security, high availability, and resilience in microservices environments
7. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
8. Familiarity with Kafka or Rabbit MQ

Additional Skills

1. Testing automation using TestNG
2. Knowledge of Openshift
3. Understanding of Spring workflow
4. Familiarity with Apache Spark

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical implementation and documentation for user stories, tasks, and defects, in alignment with planning.
2. Actively participate in daily meetings, refinement sessions, planning, and retrospective meetings within the team.
3. Contribute to technical design when required.
4. Adhere to best practices and key patterns, ensuring technical compliance with guidelines from technical leads, software architects, and project requirements.
5. Ensure coherence and value in technical documentation for projects and other product software engineers.
6. Conduct technical code reviews and offer punctual technical project support.
